Legal basis
Depending on the feature, LawSOS processes data to perform the service contract, to comply with legal obligations, to protect legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and dispute handling, and based on consent where required.
Sharing
Customer and lawyer data is shared only as needed for the consultation. Service providers may process data for hosting, authentication, notifications, video calling, payment, email delivery, analytics/debugging and fraud prevention. These include services such as PocketBase hosting, Apple/Google sign-in, Apple Push Notification service/Firebase Messaging, Agora video, Stripe payments and email infrastructure. Admins can access records for support, moderation, legal compliance and archive management.
Camera, microphone, files and Picture in Picture
LawSOS uses camera and microphone access only when you start video-related features such as video calls, profile photos or document capture. Files, photos and screenshots are uploaded only when you choose to share them. Picture in Picture may keep a live consultation visible while you briefly use another app, where supported by iOS.
Retention
Account, consultation, payment and archive records are kept only as long as needed for service, legal, tax, dispute and fraud-prevention purposes. Admin archive settings may delete automatic evidence source files after ZIP export while preserving necessary metadata.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, subject to legal limits. Use the data request page, the in-app privacy center, or contact support@lawsos.lt.
