App Permissions
Overview
LawSOS asks only for permissions needed to support legal video consultations, document sharing and notifications.
Camera
Used for lawyer video calls, profile photos and capturing case documents that you choose to share.

Microphone
Used so customers and lawyers can speak during video calls.

Photos
Used to select profile images or case documents, and to save shared consultation images only when the user taps Save. Non-image documents such as PDFs are handled through the iOS Files/share sheet rather than the Photos library.

Files
Used when you choose a PDF, document or text file from your device to share inside a consultation chat. LawSOS does not browse files unless you select them.
Notifications
Used for lawyer request alerts, reservation reminders, call status and important account messages.

Background audio / Picture in Picture
Used so an active consultation can continue while the user briefly switches screens, where supported by iOS and the video engine.
